Companionship Contract of Ubar Flaminious and Ubara Jucy

"There is no marriage as we know it on Gor, but there is the institution of free companionship, which is its nearest correspondent. The setting down of this legal document in written form by *_______ *of the Caste of Scribes, on this, the 1st month/of the 25th day/2013 does serve as the Contract of Companionship between two Gorean Free Persons:

Flaminious , Oasis Two Scimitars , Ubar

This contract may only be severed in the following cases: Death, Slavery, Non-Renewal, or by the breaking of terms set down in the legal contract below. Any breaking of the written terms will result in the immediate dissolution of the Contract, and all written penalties shall immediately apply. Legal representation of the Caste of Scribes shall oversee and enforce the application of all terms if such event occurs. If the Free Man named in this contract is a Warrior, the enforcing of terms will be exercised by the Caste of Scribes in conjunction with the Caste of Warriors of the Free Man's Home Stone. Guilt incurred by either party of this Contract shall in all due fairness be investigated, testimony gathered and evidence studied, by the Caste of Scribes and the ruling Warrior presence of the Free Man's Home Stone in order to reach the fair and just ruling under Gorean Law.

The UbaraJucyofScimitars, has no living relatives to whom a companionship price would be paid; or her previous companionship(s).This is agreeable to the Free Man entering the Companionship: Flaminious

There is no dowry for the UbaraJucyofScimitars , and this has been deemed Acceptable to the Free Man entering this companionship: Flaminious



I) Flaminious
Previously the Scribe Caste and the Administrator of the White Water, but now the citizen and Ubar of the Oasis of Two Scimitar, do hereby attest that these are my sole assets, possessions and holdings as of the date of the signing of this Contract:

1. All real estate in and around White Water (which is now in change with the FW he trusts but owned by him only) and Oasis of Two Scimitars including his Palace and homes, his personal chambers, his office, his personal playgrounds and gardens, the barren lands of both the cities,
2. All the forest area income producing items from them and river side of the White Water City
3. The pets (7 tarns and 2 Tharlarions, including Sultan his fav one)
2. The sum of 70,000 double – weight solid gold tarn disks (“DGT’s”)
3. The quantity of 5500 gems stones valued at over 25,000 solid gold tarn disks
4. The quantity of 1000 diamonds valued at over 16,000 solid gold tarn disks
5. All development rights to income producing designs, art, clothing, handicrafts, the literatures etc.
6. His complete wardrobe in White Water city as well as in Oasis of Two Scimitars


** Most important asset that he has is THE LOVE OF UBARAJUCY**

The assets and holdings shall remain the sole, legal property of Flaminious, yet may be shared freely at his own discretion, with the UbaraJucy, during the length of their Companionship.

II) UbaraJucyofScimitars
1. All real estate in and around Oasis of Two Scimitar including her villa, Palace, her personal home, the Main Hall of the city, all the barren and fertile land of the city, her salt fields, oasis around the cities.
2. The sum of 90,000 double – weight solid gold tarn disks (“DGT’s”)
3. The quantity of 7000 sapphires and other gem stones valued at over 30,000 solid gold tarn disks
4. The quantity of 2000 diamonds valued at over 32,000 solid gold tarn disks
5. All development rights to income producing designs, art, clothing, etc.
6. Her complete wardrobe
7. All her pets and personal slaves (two in number at present) and everything under her ownership

The assets and holdings shall remain the sole, legal property of UbaraJucy, yet may be shared freely at her own discretion, with the Flaminious, during the length of their Companionship.

• This contract shall last for 12 Earth months at which time it may be renewed if agreed upon in advance by both Parties. At the end of the FC, all shared property will revert back to its original owner and any newly acquired property acquired during the FC will be split 50/50.
• The Parties agree that during the term of this contract that any slave they own prior to the FC and during the FC are to be equally shared as if owned by the other.
• The Parties named in this contract agree that none of them will have any sexual contact with any slave they desire (as long as the couching law is not broken).
• The Parties agree that any disputes of the contract will be settled by the High Council of Oasis of Two Scimitars in a fair, unbiased, just manner, including but not limited to, evidence tampering (we know people can change logs), dishonesty, favoritism, etc. If such is found to have occurred, all terms of this contract are null and void.
• Upon receipt of this contract in (Oasis of Two Scimitar by its Scribe or Council Member), filed within the Cylinder of Documents, the Initiates shall be contacted.
• After the Ceremony is done, Flaminious will hand over the charge of his previous Home Stone of City of White Water to one whom he has trust. In this he will still own the land on his name but will appoint someone else as the caretaker of the city for the purpose of the trade between the two cities which has already been in agreement.
• This contract is valid upon drinking of the wine of Free Companionship.
• The agreed Companion Price is waived.
• Any children resulting from the joining of Ubar and Ubara Juicy will stay with both Mother and Father, who will have full custody.

Should the companionship contract be severed by the Death of Flaminious, the Free Man's last Will and Testament will be enacted by the Executor of his Will in distributing his sole assets and holdings. If there is no Will at the time of Death, all of the Free Man's assets and Holdings are transferred to the Free Woman named in this contract UbaraJucy, if Death occurs during the length of the Companionship. I, Flaminious, do hereby attest that any profits, properties, coin, assets and holdings I acquire during the length of this Companionship Contract "will be" shared with my Free Companion,UbaraJucy.

The Scribe preparing this contract has advised both parties that should the contract be Dissolved for any reason other than Death, Slavery, or Breaking of terms, the Shared and Acquired assets and properties gained during the Companionship Term shall be appropriated as follows:

Any assets and holdings the Free Man has acquired during the Companionship through his own endeavors will then become His sole property. Any assets, coin, and holdings the Free Woman has acquired during the Companionship through her own endeavors will then become her sole property. Any jointly owned property that can be verified with a Deed as belonging to both the Free Woman and Free Man must be divided equally, or an agreement reached by both parties as to how it will continue to be shared; or its liquidation into coin to be equally distributed between both parties. Any disputes concerning jointly owned property and its proper distribution will be settled by the Highest-Ranking Scribe of the Free Man's Home Stone in the meeting of the High Council.

Terms and Penalties.

1. Both parties attest and agree that in the case of sexual relations of both the Ubar Flaminious and Ubara Jucy , with ANY Free Person not their Free Companion named in this contract and also with the any slave will result in this contract becoming Dissolved and the total loss of all sole and shared assets she possessed before and during the period of companionship.

2. It is further understood by the Ubara named in this contract that she can, under Gorean Law, be enslaved for engaging in Sexual Relations with another man not her Free Companion, further resulting in stripping of Caste, Citizenship and loss of any and all rights to her Children.

3. In the case of enslavement of the UbaraJucy, consequences will follow Gorean Laws for Enslavement; and any children born of this companionship Term shall be delivered immediately into the sole custody of the father, Ubar Flaminious.
4. Couching Law will also be enforced if such a case occurs.

5. In the case of a mutually agreed Dissolution of this contract before its expiration date, all properties and assets acquired during the length of the companionship shall be divided between both parties as specified above in the Clause above addressing property distribution and appropriation. A dissolution agreement must be filed with the proper authorities and signed by a minimum of two (2) witnesses.

With the affixing of my personal signature below, I attest that I enter into this Contract of Companionship of my own free will, and with full agreement to all terms, stipulations and penalties set forth.
